Basilica of St. Quirinus

An imposing landmark of the city of Neuss is its late romanesque church, one of the most important in the Lower Rhineland.

The gallery basilica was built between 1209 and 1230. Following the fire in 1741, a baroque cupola with a statue of the city's patron St. Quirinus was built on the East Tower.
